Three students two Chinese and an American on Sep 2, 2009 launched a digital camera in to a near space with the help of a helium balloon to measure the curvature of the earth. The equipment consisted of a Camera, GPS Tracking, and weather balloon. The balloon went about 20 km high in to the upper most stratosphere and returned 5 hours later, about 35 km away from launch site. The balloon and camera made it to about 93, |
